Wine of The Month July 2020

**FTC Disclaimer: Some links may or may not compensate me. Thank you for your support.)**

This month we took a little drive to our two favorite local wineries and picked up some more of our favorite wines.

If you have ever been on the Pennsylvania or New York Wine Trail you can follow Lake Erie all the way to Canada and along the way find some amazing wineries and distilleries.

My top two wineries that I recommend are:

Liberty Winery at, 2861 US Rt. 20, Sheridan NY

ph# 716-672-4520

Check out-

Red,White,Blues $11.99

Lucy in the Sky $11.99

Purple Haze $10.99

If you notice the “Wine Condom”, on the bottle to the left it preserves your wine after you uncork it and you are able to lay the bottle down in the fridge. I highly recommend them they work great. Grab yours here at my a Amazon Link:

They have several wine clubs to order a monthly subscription as well as order what you want and have shipped to you by UPS ground. You will not be disappointed. I do not get any compensation for promoting this company.

Five and 20 Spirits/Distillery Mazza Chautauqua Cellars at, 8398 West main Rd. (Rt.20), Westfield NY 14787

ph# 716-793-9463 You can find them on twitter, Facebook, Instagram

2nd Location: Mazza Vineyards at 11815 East Lake Rd. (RT 5), North East PA 16428 ph# 814-725-8695

3rd Location: Wine shop at Baldingers, at 519 Perry Hwy., Zelinaple, PA 16063

You can order wine or whisky online at Five and 20 Spirits Distillery or at the Mazza Chautauqua Cellars or Mazza Vineyards. Both locations have live music, special events, wine, whisky, and beer tastings. We watched Doug Philips play guitar and sing like James Taylor songs. Great place to go for date night. Great ambiance.

We tried Limoncello, it was very sweet and lemony, great to mix in cocktails or sparkling water, gin or vodka. If you drink it straight up it is very sour and  syrupy.

I really liked the Stout Beer, it was a dark rich color and smelled like roasted coffee or kailua. Very good head on it.

I also liked the Port Wine, we actually bought a bottle to take home. It cost $18.99

They make Bourbon, Whiskey, Distilled Apple Cider, Bierschnapps. I like their Apple Jack.

They will ship to most states but it is best to call first to make sure. Some parts of Canada are also available. Ask for the owner Vanessa and tell her Rosalie Wright, from Yarn It Out recommend them to you. (I do not get compensated for shouting them out or promoting them but if enough of you respond maybe she will work with me and give us promo codes.)

Blanket using Lion Brand Cupcake Yarn called Sunny Day. I am using an H hook but feel like I should go down to a G hook as the Hdc I am doing is producing holes and I like my stitches tighter. It is a 3 weight yarn. It looks more like a 2 weight yarn. It is very soft and I like how the colors are striping out. I am not color controlling the yarn at all.

Still waiting for my Annie’s Striped Afghan kit to come in the mail and give me next set of yarn and pattern to finish the next three rows of my SeaSide Afghan.
