The pattern for the blanket comes in two sizes the smaller size measures Throw size is, 35 1/2″ x 35 1/2″ and Lap: 63 1/2″ x 63 1/2″. Both are great sizes for any family or just for the two of you for a picnic at the park or beach.

I love the reds and shades of teal and blue. It reminds me of a beach sunset. The jelly roll is great to get the job done quickly using the Half Square Triangle paper, where you put right sides together and sew on the lines, then cut apart your triangles and piece together to make the blocks. Easy Peasy!

Also in included in the box were these amazing pins that can handle the heat of the iron and will not melt. Ask me how many times I have burnt my pins….too many! These are definitely going to make my life easier. Yay!

Another item in the box was Hugo Tape that sticks to itself and not to your fabric it is reusable and washable, how awesome is that? You can wrap it around a spool of thread so your thread does not unravel. I might actually try using it on a ball of yarn and see if it keeps that tidy as well.

This box really was a treat to open and explore new items I had never used before. I will let you know in a future post if I like it or not. As for the fabric well you know I will make something amazing with it. If you also get the Sew Sampler box please leave a photo of what you have made with your subscription over at my Facebook page, “Yarn It Out Stitch Social”, I would love to see how it turns out. Let me know in a comment below what your favorite product is and why you like it.
Happy crafting and sewing,
