Pattern Review and Thoughts:

(Note: All opinions are my own, I am not being compensated for reviewing them.)

It was so hard for me to pick my favorite pattern this week, I totally loved all them. This was one of the times when I also wished I knew how to knit because the two knitting patterns above are just amazing! If anyone is a knitter and wants to make one for me I would be so honored.

I love the Mandala as it will be a great wall hanging for just about any age and makes a great gift to our Veterans for them to hang in their rooms as a decoration. Or if you just want something for your own home decor it makes a great conversation piece in the room.

The Easy Striped Tote bag, would make a great project bag or beach bag now that we are all heading out to our vacation destinations. It is easy to make in a day or two and I just love the stitches.

The Sundown Market bag is definitely going into my rotation of things to make as well. I love the colors of the yarn that was used in this project as well as the stitches. Make sure to add this to your list of makes as well.

The Draw String Bucket bag I thought was so genius in how they added the straps onto the bag. It is so much fun to add new handles and have a new look to a classic bag that goes with anything.

When I saw the pattern for the Farmer Gnome, I immediately thought of my yarn friend Dana from Dana’s Wanderlust Crochet. She is a former horse trainer and coach for horse competitions and now is a long haul truck driver. But you can never take the country girl out of her. I can really see a Farmer Gnome being her new road buddy in her truck as she travels around the USA delivering products to stores for our consumption. Thanks, Dana for all you do for us as a truck driver and a Yarny YouTuber. If you have not seen her Youtube channel here is the link. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCO9kcqRwbz9rtiA5glGCUOw

For the Crocheters and Sewers, when I found that tutorial on how to sew a granny square to fabric on a sewing machine I was like almost jumping up and down in my chair. Oh my goodness that is so much faster than joining as you go or using a skip stitch blade to poke the holes into the fabric to then crochet it all together. Like where has this tutorial been all my life? Thanks to Melanie K. Ham for her insightfulness and for making the tutorial free of charge. She even has a video to go along with the tutorial so if you would rather watch the video as opposed to printing out the directions you can go here to the video link: https://youtu.be/YAr1yQush28

Have a wonderful week everyone and if you have any topics or suggestions you would like to see on my Youtube channel or on the blog please leave a comment above in the comments section or feel free to email me at Rosalie@YarnItOut.com I value your comments and interaction.
