Do you ever look back at the crochet items you have made over the years. Do you remember what inspired you to make the item in the first place? Do you remember where you found the pattern? Ever wonder what the recipient did with it after you gave it to them? Do they still have the item?

Sometimes I think of these things and wonder where are they now? Does it really matter? Not really. I made each item with love and caring hands and that is all that matters. If it brought joy or comfort then I have done my job. The joy is in giving it away not in the accolades and praise. What we create with our hands whether crochet or sewn or painted etc. is an extension of our creativity and willingness to bless others. Some items go to charity as well as family and friends. I would say 99.9% of the items I make are donated to charity the 1% goes to family. I rarely make items for myself. Do you find that is true for you?
